Si tratta quindi di un’ulteriore opportunità per accrescere il valore e la vivibilità degli edifici e degli spazi cittadini.
“Capsule” is the result of research on a solution aligned with a wider vision, capable of satisfying not only the current necessities of social distancing but also grasping the future ones. The possibility to reconfigure the Capsule according to various needs allows to relocate and reuse the module even in the post-Covid phase. It therefore offers an additional opportunity to add value to buildings and public spaces, and increase their livability.
L’urgenza di ripensare i luoghi della vita moderna, in cui l’uomo cerca bellezza, sostenibilità e facilità d’uso di spazio e tecnologia, è un tema che è emerso con forza durante la pandemia. Il Covid, però, non ha evidenziato solo le criticità e i limiti del modo di progettare ma, soprattutto, ha portato i progettisti a pensare a nuove possibilità finora inespresse. Il Prisma in collaborazione con Manni Group ha progettato una struttura modulare e polifunzionale “Capsule”, pensata per affiancarsi e integrarsi completamente a edifici esistenti per generare nuovi scenari d’uso.

The urgent need to rethink places of contemporary life where humans seek beauty, sustainability and ease of use of spaces and technologies is an issue that emerged with force during the pandemic. Covid, though, has not only emphasized weaknesses and limits of the way of designing but, in particular, it has brought designers to think of new possibilities not expressed yet. Il Prisma in collaboration with Manni Green Tech has designed Capsule, a modular and polyfunctional system conceived to be added and integrated completely to the existent buildings, generating in this way new scenarios of usage.
